Guests of
Gaestehaus Salzburg are treated to a European-style breakfast that
sometimes includes, cold cuts, German sausages, select cheeses, soft-boiled eggs,
fresh fruit, freshly baked breads, and homemade apple strudel.
These tasty
treats are complemented with one feature dishes such as apple-cinnamon omelet
or Eggs Benedict (Austrian style) or Strammer Max (toast topped with
Black Forest ham, Swiss cheese, and fried egg).
Guests of
the inn, local residents and travelers alike are invited to partake
of authentic German cuisine and our incredible homemade Austrian pastries
for dinner, Friday and Saturday and lunch, Friday through
Sunday. Werner is
an amazing chef, and the menu changes weekly.
Authentic
cuisine features such dishes as Salzburger Nockerl (egg souffl¡¡ì¦' with
raspberry sauce), Gulyas (Hungarian goulash), Sausage Platter, Wiener Schnitzel, and one of the house specialties, Salzburg
Schnitzel (tender pork loin stuffed with spinach, Swiss cheese and Black
Forest ham dipped in egg and bread crumbs!).
